Carol Karshmer

Carol graduated from the University of Colorado – Boulder with a B.S. in Kinesiology and went on to earn an M.D. at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Upon retiring from private practice Carol pursued her interest in philanthropy by becoming the Adult Supervisor to Colorado Kids for Kids, a kid run non-profit whose mission is to help sick, disabled, underprivileged, and homeless kids by supporting their needs, raising awareness, and volunteering. Additionally, Carol has served on the boards of other non-profit organizations including MyLifeLine.org, Jewish Family Service, and The Zarlengo Foundation.
Carol and her husband live in Denver where they raised their two children who are now in college. Together they enjoy skiing, travelling and playing pickleball. Giving back to the community is a priority for Carol and she is very excited to continue her philanthropic work with Women’s World on Wheels.
